Indiana: Happy Days actress probably died from advanced cancer

Ex Happy Days child actresss Erin Moran, aged 56, probably died from the effects of having Stage Four cancer, the Harrison County medical examiner and Sheriff’s Department said on Monday in Indiana.

Erin Moran was found dead at her trailer park home in New Salisbury, Indiana on Saturday.

An “autopsy revealed that Mrs. Moran likely succumbed to complications of Stage Four cancer”, the Harrison County officials statement said.

Toxicology tests were conducted and local officials have still to receive the results, but no illicit drugs were found at Moran’s home.

Moran played Joanie Cunningham, the young sister of Richie Cunningham, in the Happy Days comedy set in 1950s Milwaukie.
